Chromatography

1.Gas Chromatograph (Shimadzu GC-2014): The Gas Chromatography is a technique for separating mixtures of compounds by exploiting the differential distribution of the compounds between two phases, one phase being stationary while the other is mobile. FID is used in this machine to detect Methane (CH4).

2.High Performance Liquid Chromatograph (Ultimate 3000): HPLC is a technique for separation of a mixture of compounds by their differential distribution between the stationery and mobile phases. The stationary phase is either solid or liquid and mobile is an important part of analytical chemistry which is being used for isolation, identification and quantification of organic compounds.
